Entertainment includes a Cinemark movie theater to the immediate south in the Stone Hill shopping center.  The Dell Diamond, featuring the Round Rock Express is just a few miles west of Hutto, offering a variety of special events.  An abundance of restaurants can also be in nearly every direction of Hutto.

Commuting from Hutto is especially convenient these days with the addition of 130, which runs north and south through Hutto.  Other access roads include Gattis School Road, FM 685, 79 and FM1660.  Round Rock is immediately to the west and north.  Pflugerville is to the immediate south, and Taylor is to the east.  Many people commute to Austin from Hutto.  One of the main attractions to Hutto is the average price of homes.
